The Diversity and Cohesion Service

Diversity and Cohesion takes responsibility for promoting race equality, citizenship and community cohesion through education. This includes training in religious and cultural diversity; curriculum support and development; monitoring and reporting racial harassment; support for supplementary schools and implementation of the Race Relations Amendment Act in schools and in Education Bradford.

The Diversity and Cohesion team are based at the Interfaith Education Centre and at Future House. Our brief is to deal with equality issues, diversity, citizenship, community cohesion, Religious Education and collective worship throughout education.

The team provides support for schools, running a comprehensive training programme for all staff.
