Teach phonics? Win one of three cash prizes worth £750 Print E-mail
Friday, 26 September 2008

Are you a Foundation Stage or Key Stage 1 teacher, literacy coordinator, or do you oversee your school’s Early Years Literacy programme?

Spend 15 minutes completing this survey about your school’s approach to teaching phonics, and you could win one of three prizes worth £750 in total – and help to shape the development of a new phonics resource. Send this survey to a friend who teaches phonics, and you will be re-entered into the prize draw for each valid entry we receive.

What are your chances of winning? When we last ran a survey amongst this panel of teachers, we received approximately 250 responses. This means your chance of winning a prize is around 1 in 83 – pretty good for 15 minutes of your time. Our research administrator enters the names of all survey respondents into a prize draw, and the winners will be contacted within 14 days of the survey submission deadline.

Is this a valid project? Schoolzone specializes in carrying out educational market research on behalf of publishers who need to know what teachers really think about government initiatives, policies and existing publishers’ resources. This ensures that new resources are developed in response to teachers’ and pupils’ needs – and are therefore relevant and genuinely useful. While there are no ‘right and wrong’ answers to this survey, it is important that you answer each question as accurately as possible, as this feedback will inform the future publishing decisions taken by this publisher. http://www.schoolzone.co.uk/surveys/2008/rc08f7/

The deadline is 09:00 Thursday 9th October 2008 - it should take about 15 minutes to complete and your answers will be completely anonymous in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct ( http://www.mrs.org.uk/standards/codeconduct.htm ).
