Curriculum ICT Cluster Groups / IWB training Print E-mail
Tuesday, 16 September 2008

Curriculum ICT are running several meetings and cluster support groups this term; all details of this are available on www.skillspace.com/bradict in the courses section. If you would like regular email updates on how Teaching and Learning can be enhanced with ICT and to get our Half termly newsletter please click here.

We are running the very successful IWB cluster support groups again this year. These sessions were aimed at Foundation certification for Promethean IWB users and Advanced User accreditation for Smart IWB users. Below are some quotes from staff who qualified through last year's course. These meetings are available to whole schools on request. There is a meeting at Future House 4.00 - 5.00 on Wednesday 1st October to discuss this year's clusters. Click here to register for the meeting. Click read more for staff comments about last year's courses.

' The meeting has been a real asset to me as it has made me focus more on the use of the IWB within many more lessons than previously. It has improved the quality of my teaching through better organisation which enables me to spend more time teaching.'

'It was fantastic seeing the way that the children reacted to all the new elements of my notebooks. They were so encouraging that I couldn't wait to learn more. It was also really evident that my skill level had increased'

'I feel that I use about 80% of the new skills every day now and I cannot think of a meeting which has had a bigger practical impact on my teaching since completing teacher training.'
