The deadline for the Bradford Young Citizen Awards has been extended to

At the request of children and young people, and in recognition of their achievements, Bradford Council and partners are again hosting the Bradford Young Citizen Awards.  Youth awards aim to challenge and balance the negative perceptions of young people in communities.  This prestigious event will take place on Wednesday 27 February 2008 at St George's Hall.

Nominations will be considered by a selection panel involving children and young people and key adults.  Anyone may be nominated but all nomination forms need to be supported by a named referee who can verify detail at a later date.
