Further to the temporary Internet outage/ slow speed experienced by some schools today, we have been advised by Synetrix that this was caused by a DNS server process failure. As a result of this, the load balancing of services also failed. Both issues have now been resolved and the internet is functioning properly. (The load balancing will take a short while to balance out). Synetrix are in the process of investigating issues to ensure this does not reoccur and send their apologies for any inconvenience caused.
