Holocaust Pack and CD ROM for Key Stage 4 (revised 2008)
A pack of information, lesson plans, activities and a CD ROM. The focus is on citizenship and RE, but the pack has potential for use across the curriculum. Price £12.50 + p&p. Available from April 2008.
Sacred Spaces DVDs: exploring places of worship through object trails
These DVDs and CD ROM packs are available now from the Interfaith Education Centre, price per pack £20.00 + package and postage (p&p). Each pack contains one DVD and one CD Rom. The places of worship featured on the DVDs are the Hanfia Mosque; the Bradford Reform Synagogue; the Kashyapa Buddhist Centre; the Hindu Cultural Society Mandir; the Ramgarhia Gurdwara and the Roman Catholic Polish Church. They are useful in KS3 and also across the primary phase, for supporting visits to places of worship. They are also useful in delivering the National Framework for RE and the Bradford Agreed Syllabus.
A Cutural Heritage GPS Trail and DVD
A DVD trail of the Little Horton area of Bradford, focusing on religious diversity, demographic, social and cultural change (particularly useful for Key Stages Two and Three) Cross curricular (links with RE and NC programmes of study) Made with the help of sixth formers in Bradford Schools. This is accompanied by a CD ROM for teachers and a GPS interactive satellite trail of the area, which can be used by students. Available September 2007.
