The Rebirth of the Olympic Games 6 Apr Print E-mail

On 6 April 1896 the first Olympic Games for 1500 years took place in Athens , Greece – the country in which the first recorded Olympics had been held in 776 BC. Much more recently, the Olympics returned again to Athens in the summer of 2004.
