The Identity, Heritage and Belonging pack will allow teachers to choose from a wide range of activities designed to help children to explore their roots, background, identity and heritage, to expose and explore myths that have been created around race and racism and provide opportunities to identify what it means to be British in the 21st century. All the activities are designed to encourage dialogue, peer interaction and provide opportunities for creative work. The primary pack is currently being trialled by clusters of schools and provides an excellent, sustainable extension to the celebratory event 'The who do we think we are?' week - The secondary pack is currently being trialled by schools, and complements the REWIND education that some schools have undergone, but also links in with the 'Who do we think we are' and secondary SEALS themes. Both packs will be sent free to all The activity and resource packs are designed to help schools to work towards fulfilling the Community Cohesion Education Standards.
