This year's theme - ‘The Legacy of Hope’

‘Help us to build a safer future together'

‘Think about our own attitudes’

‘Celebrate the difference between us’
'Respect one another'

One hundred and forty four children attended this year’s Bradford Remembers – Holocaust Memorial Day at Victoria Hall, Shipley; some as helpers and guides, others as performers and a considerable number as guests. They represented their schools and Bradford's young people wonderfully and were a credit to their teachers, families and communities. One leading Council official remarked that with these children:

Bradford’s future is in safe hands’

Well done to all the schools who took part in any way at all and many thanks to Bradford Council for allowing Education Bradford to involve so many children and young people in such an important, thought provoking, moving and at times (due to the input of the children and young people) entertaining event.

Performing schools: Tong High School – ‘Ignite Drama Group’, Bradford Grammar, and Allerton Primary

Meeters and greeters: Keelham Primary

Attending schools: Home Farm (the 2011 meeters and greeters elect), Leytop Primary, St Walburga's Catholic Primary, Wilsden Primary, Ben Rhydding Primary, Low Ash Primary, Windhill Primary, Lilycroft Primary
